When you have to make a card for a man.......

I usually dread making cards for men but when its for your son, you have to make the effort and it was made much easier with the contents of the goody bag I bought recently.  I stamped the main image on acetate before adding the metal cog and brads to attach it to a piece of card.  I added the picture of the man as I thought it looked a bit like my son would when he gets older - but I didn't tell him that LOL

Been working on a sewing themed card this afternoon - much more to my liking!  Thanks for stopping by and for your very kind comments on my efforts.

  1. Wonderful! I adore this and I really envy your ability to make masculine cards so well. I really struggle with them. You do the steampunk style so well without taking it to too much of a grunge look. Sometimes they can look overdone but yours are always so elegant. I like the idea of stamping onto acetate - never done that before so will give that a go! I do love the images. They are perfect! Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog - I love seeing your name pop up! Re. the fresco paints - Can you email me? I have an email button on my blog and I can then write to you about it. It would take too long to explain here. Much love Laura xxxxxxxx
