Scissor sister

Really enjoyed making this sewing themed card for a crafty friend's birthday.  You could really go to town with some lovely ribbon instead of the cotton lace I used - see Heather Cserni's great examples and her templates here

Enjoyed a lovely, lazy birthday lunch with my son and daughter in law today so not much getting done tonight!  Feet up, dogs on lap and just relaxing ........

Hope everyone has had  some nicer weather today - I detect the scent of Spring in the air here in Northumberland.

    This is adorable! I love stitching themed cards and this is wonderful. I love that it is in the shape of a cotton reel, the details are so perfect and I adore the little flower tied to the scissors. Your friend will love this card. Much love from Laura xxxxxxxx
