Less is More Week 78 challenge - horizontal band

This week's challenge over at Less is More is to follow a sketch to make a card with a horizontal band in the top half plus a sentiment.  I never enjoy making Sympathy cards but its usually easier to make one when you don't actually need one so I thought this would be a good opportunity.  Here's my entry for this week and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has done.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look - I appreciate it.

  1. This looks lovely Margie, what is the embossing folder you used for the horizontal band?
    Thanks so much

  7. Luv the style of this card, such a nice effect to have an embossed die-cut on top of the embossed swirl.
