Eek! I almost passed on this one (Less is More - Theme Sewing) as sewing and me just don't get along. I can crochet and knit but ask me to sew and I break out in a sweat - ridiculous I know. So I had to have a go and I actually stitched these five faux buttons onto the stamped card and (drum roll here!) hand stitched the line across the card. I swear there are a couple of drops of blood on there from where I stabbed myself several times but what the heck, it matches in with the colour scheme. Thanks to Chrissie and Mandi for getting me outside my comfort zone yet again!
What a great stamp and I love the sewn on buttons. A fab card. x

Had to smile when you say you hand sewed on faux buttons!!! very elegant card! Hope you didn't lose too much blood and let's us non-sewers be happy with whatever strictly paper-based challenge we are given next Saturday!!!
ReplyDeleteYep...definately a blood, sweat and tears challenge this week but you`ve pulled it off beautifully, well done.

What a very pretty card and well done on managing the sewing part! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my post the other day, you made me chuckle about adding things to the list, just so you can cross them off - I totally do that as well!!
