Shabby rolled spiral flower

Oooh, I really enjoyed making this flower following Clare's great tuturial here http://clare-buswell.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/shabby-rolled-spiral-flower-tutorial.html.  She even provided the template, bless her, for somebody like me who is rubbish at drawing.  I love how the tasselled centre turned out.  I can see me making lots more of these - to decorate boxes, gift bags and even dinky ones for cards.  Brilliant.

Hope you give it a try - you'll be so pleased with the results.

I think you're right about the damp dismal weather affecting my creativity. I feel a lot better now the weather is a bit brighter. I actually made something today that I like! :)xx

  4. Nice job on this lovely flower. I think if you made several of them they would look nice on a wreath. You are always so brave trying the tutorials you see. Hope you are enjoying your spring weather : )
