This is a card I've made for a friend after seeing Clare Buswell's beautiful creation and her tutorial here http://clare-buswell.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/paper-ruffle-tutorial-lots-of-photos.html Mine isn't half as good as Clare's but I was pleased with the end result anyway. I just love the Prima Almanac papers - they are all beautiful. Thanks for all your kind comments - I love getting them!

Back from holiday
Back from a lovely week in the Peak District staying in a converted barn with fantastic views. I only took limited supplies and didn't have all that much time to craft with all the walking we did but I made this Thank You card for the farm owners, inspired by the bicycle at their entrance. Hoping to get back into crafting once all the washing and ironing is done!

Less is More Challenge - doodle card
Oh, this was fun! I stamped the little girl then masked her to print the script over but put an arch shape over first so I could doodle the arch in afterwards! My dear husband says it looks more like an iron than an arch but hey, its pretty good for someone who can't draw (at all!). I like the doodle around her hat much better! See what you think anyway.

Shabby rolled spiral flower
Oooh, I really enjoyed making this flower following Clare's great tuturial here http://clare-buswell.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/shabby-rolled-spiral-flower-tutorial.html. She even provided the template, bless her, for somebody like me who is rubbish at drawing. I love how the tasselled centre turned out. I can see me making lots more of these - to decorate boxes, gift bags and even dinky ones for cards. Brilliant.
Hope you give it a try - you'll be so pleased with the results.

Less is More Challenge - 3 shades of green
Well, this was a difficult one for me! If it had been 3 shades of pink I would be spoiled for choice but green! Not one of my most favourite colours and I struggled to find 3 shades that contrasted - the butterflies were really difficult to capture in the picture. Never mind - at least it got done this week - I've missed a couple of weeks and wanted to get back on board. Looking forward to seeing what everybody else has done.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a great time this Easter.

Pillow box for a friend
I made this box following a tutorial here http://www.swirlydoos.com/sd_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?150415.0#post_151166 and really enjoyed messing about with embossing and acrylic paint over it! Thanks to Paulien for the great tutorial!
