Gift bag and altered mints tin
Another picture for you of a gift bag I made from the instructions provided by a very talented lady here: http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/03/purse-templates-galore-little-handbag.html Mel has loads of templates, tutorials and helpful hints which I take advantage of often. The altered mints tin inside the bag holds an assortment of crafty bits for a very good friend of mine to thank her for all her help in 2011. Hope she likes it!
My 2011 Christmas card
Thought I would post a pic of my Christmas card for this year. I can't stop making these lovely little trees - they are addictive. I had a group of friends round the other night and we all made these - in between nibbles and the odd glass of wine. No wonder a few of them went a bit wobbly!

A card for a patchwork quilter
This is a card I made for a lady who'd been given an award for her beautiful quilting work. The little paper quilt in the centre was fun to make and I hope she likes the little sewing charms I attached.
Thanks for looking.

Another of those fabulous paper pieced dresses
This is another dress inspired by Julie Nutting's fabulous book "Collage Couture" - I can't get enough of them. My favourite is the Vogue dress which I had a go at here:
The background doesn't show it off too well but I still love her. Thanks for looking.

Collage for our Hospice
Our local Hospice is running an Art Auction to raise funds and asked for A5 size pieces which will all be displayed at an exhibition running through October and then sold. Its a great idea and I really enjoyed creating my "Beautiful" collage - I've got an invitation to the preview of all the submissions tomorrow night and might even put a bid on a piece of art someone else has created. Everyone wins - and most of all the Hospice which does such marvellous work for people with cancer and their families, will benefit financially. What a wonderful outcome. Hope you like my effort.

Blue flower card
I love it when I can hand someone their birthday card and really go to town with a lovely flower on it! Here's one I made using Distress stains (Broken China, Dusty Concorde and the fab new Picket Fence) touched with Glimmer Glam in champagne. Really pleased with the way the flower turned out and thought the TH metal leaves just finished it off. Thanks for looking.

Miss Fanny's fate
This is the card I created for the September challenge at Green Paper, http://greenpaper.typepad.com/green/. Mary provides 3 images to be incorporated into a collage - great fun!

Oriental card and box
A card I made for a recent Oriental theme swap. I really liked this challenge and found some lovely images to use along with loads of tickets and bits brought back from Japan by my DIL. Unfortunately, I'm finding it difficult to keep track of my pics so will have to get my son to help me sort them out when he can, then I can upload some more. So pleased I remembered how to add them here. Thanks to anyone who takes a peek.

Blog newbie
I have decided to set up a blog as I follow so many other bloggers and thought it might be fun to try my own. I have absolutely no idea how it works but I'm sure I'll figure it out over time. I hope to add some pics of things that I make, my dogs and other random thoughts and I'm sure it will get better over time.
This is one side of a little house I made recently. I really enjoyed putting all the details on it Thanks to anybody who takes a look!
